2) CA Medigap Birthday Rule

In California, you may switch your current Medigap plan every year during the 60-day period that follows your birthday. You are able to switch companies, but you are only allowed to choose a plan that has equal or lesser benefits than your current plan. So you can switch from Plan A to Plan A, but not to Plan F. If you have a plan that is no longer sold you can replace your current with specific plans.
