Washington allows enrollees to switch Medigap plans

Seniors in Washington can switch Medigap plans at any time of year without health review

by Ray Wilson+ on Sep 08, 2019 | 1 Comment

Washington state allow seniors to switch their current Medigap plan to another Medigap without going through medical underwriting. This is the perfect opportunity for people who hail from the great state of Washington to switch from Plan F to Plan G.

How are Washington’s Medigap switching rules different?

Most states allow seniors to switch Medigap plans at anytime of the year by answering health questions. Washington State, on the other hand, allows you to switch your Medigap to another Medigap without going through medical underwriting. This can be done all year long and the only exception is Medigap Plan A, which does not offer this possibility.
