CLIENT QUESTION: I have Medicare Part A and B. I need insurance to help with meds, hearing, dental, and eyes. Which is the best plan, and how much would it cost me monthly?

ANSWER BY ONE OF OUR LICENSED AGENTS:
As you figured out Original Medicare does not cover prescription medication at the pharmacy as well as hearing, dental or vision. Some Medicare Advantage (MA) plans cover some (or rarely all) of these benefits. MA is usually the least expensive way to get added benefits such as drugs, vision and hearing. Since MA benefits vary by region, give us a call and we can help you identify and enroll in a plan that includes these extra benefits.

The other route is to purchase these items separately. You can get a stand alone part D drug plan, dental plan, hearing plan and vision plan. We can help you with this process as well.

If you are interested in a Medigap supplemental plan, often times your selected insurance company will allow you to pay a bit extra to add dental and vision. This is something we can help you identify before you apply.

Finally, in California and a few other states, there are Innovative Plan F Medigap plans that include hearing and vision benefits that you should consider. Call us at 800-930-7956 to start the process. We charge you nothing for our services!
