How Much Does Blue Shield Medigap Cost?

Blue Shield Medigap’s price is based on a few factors such as age, gender, zipcode and tobacco use.  After you complete the first page of the application, you will have a chance to select your plan. Then you can see the price or change to a different plan.

Discounts

Blue Shield currently offers a $20 a month discount to new members who are new to Medicare Part B. Additionally you can get $3 off each month if you set up autopay when they withdraw your monthly Medigap premium automatically each month. There is also a discount for spouses who sign up for the same plan. This is called a two party contract. The two party discount rate will be factored in when you get a quote and include your spouses data.

Does Blue Shield Medigap Cover Dental and Vision?

Blue Shield offers a separate Specialty Duo package which includes both a dental plan and vision plan for an additional fee. You will see the optional dental and or vision cost and benefit information when you get into the Medigap application.

Does Blue Shield offer Medicare Advantage?
